Beginning Japanese III

Overview

Description

This class continues where "Beginning Japanese II" leaves off by introducing new grammar and vocabulary with an emphasis on TE-form verb conjugations. In addition to weekly lessons and in-class activities, each class begins with a "Cultural Tidbit" which is used to help increase the student's awareness of Japan and Japanese culture by showing how closely language is tied to culture.

Benchmark

By the end of this class, students will have covered enough Japanese to be able to make compound statements like, "I'm sorry to bother you, but could you please send me the new product catalog by email right away; I'm going to use it during the meeting."
